The Capital Hilton is involved in multiple organizations in order to give back to our nation's capital.
We maintain a strong charitable relationship with Martha’s Table (a non-profit organization that provides food, education, clothing, and other family support services to all ages in the DC Metropolitan area.) We continue to support Martha’s Table by holding food and clothing drives; and volunteering our services by making sandwiches, reading books to children, and packaging food products.
We participate in many national charity walks in support of the prevention, research, and cure of such causes as: the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade; the National Kidney Foundation; and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, to name a few.
We adopted McKinley Tech Middle School (a D.C. public middle school for students who specialize in the areas of math, engineering, and science technology) to provide students assistance with establishing tangible career goals while exploring potential career interest in the hospitality industry. Our goal is to promote a positive impact on our local youth and to use our expertise as hospitality leaders in the field to help them reach their full potential.
We have partnered with Walter Reed Army Medical Center (WRAMC) and the local chapter of Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA), to provide a monthly dinner to honor those military veterans who have served our country and are rehabilitating from injuries sustained during their active duty of service.
